No kids and some new jewelry

These are the kinds of things that I can get done when my babies are away. Noah was gone all day yesterday with his Gran. She took him to the mall, then to see Elmo Live. He had a great time. While they were gone Hubby and I attended a wedding recpetion of a good friend of ours. Our youngest is on his first excursion away from us. He's at Grandma and Papa's (Tallahassee) for the entire weekend. He's done well and doesn't even notice we aren't around!

The first photo is the necklace that I showed earlier in the week. I finished it off with some Swarovski crystals to pick up the blue in the Jade Scott pendant. The second is a necklace that I am just LOVING! I know it's summery, but I can't help it, I'm a Florida girl. After all it's mid-October here and it's still ungodly humid and 90+ degrees!!!

I've got more pieces to show you once I get my camera to cooperate. I'll post those later today!

My Latest Creations

Here are a few pics that I promised you. The necklace shown at the top is not finished yet. I need to add a clasp and some embellishments. I'll take another pic when it's done. That's the one I mentioned that features a wonderful copper pendant by Jade Scott. The quote inside the pendant says, "I have the keys".

My camera is on the fritz and not taking photos very well right now, so this is the best I could do. I'll have more pics tomorrow.

She's Back!

My beading muse that is! Lookout all you Etsy bead makers/sellers, lol. I unpacked all my beads last night (that's an old photo above) and sat down today to finish a bracelet that I started months ago as well as a new necklace. The necklace features a fabulous handmade copper pendant by Jade Scott. I plan on making quite a few new things and will be submitting them to Stringing again. I'll have pics for you tomorrow!
