My new treasures featuring polymer clay beads by Peggy Ward

I couldn't wait to finish these and was even more excited to post about them. I absolutely love them and I am having a very hard time thinking about listing these in my Etsy shop. I want to keep them for myself! Both these necklaces feature the polymer clay beads of my friend Peggy Ward, a.k.a The Bead Chick - http://www.beadchickstaugustine.com/. In her spare time, when she's not tending to her bead shop down in gorgeous St. Augustine Florida, she's making wonderful polymer clay creations. They are eclectic and artsy. I just love them! So much to do, so little time...

Hi all! I've not had time this week, once again, to post a bead giveaway. I've been busy getting our rental home ready for the new tenants to move in this Friday. Hopefully, I will be able to pull some beadies and get them photographed this weekend to have ready for next week. Stay tuned!

It Was A Bead Addicts Dream!

Man o' man! What more could a bead addict like me ask for than 2 bead shows in town on the same weekend? I'm mean really! I was in heaven and I actually got to make it to both of them. One was great and I bought alot, the other not so great and I was more selective in my purchases. Anyway here's a quick pic of the new additions to my stash. I got some fab Kazuri beads, 3 cool bronze clay connectors and pendant, some new bronze and shimmery cream colored charlottes, 3 totally cool raku lampwork beads, some more Vintaj findings (which I love) and much, much more! October ABS Challenge Entry

My inspiration was these unique carved agate rondelles that are navy, dark gray and white. They reminded me of the colors in storm clouds. 4. I think about beads, fabric and being creative 24 hrs a day! Okay, 20 hrs. I do sleep occasionally.

6. I still (after 9 years) think my husband is a hottie!
7. I have a mini-schnauzer named Bailey.

New earrings in my shop today!

Road Trippin' It!

Man, am I beat tonight! We had a new roof put on our house today. So, because the baby has to get his naps in I had to leave our house in Mandarin and head to St. Augustine where my Mom was. Then I had to drive from there to the beach to pick up my oldest from preschool, then back to St. Augustine to pick up the baby, then back home to Mandarin. I feel like I have our Honda Odyssey van permanently stuck to my butt! ^_^

Anyway, I also hit my friends bead shop while in St. Auggie and got some great things. One of which is the new Bronze Art Clay. I can't wait to try it out! Later on in the day I was early picking up my oldest from school and guess what's right down the street from his school? Yep, you guessed it, another bead shop. Well, I had time to kill so I had to go somewhere, wink wink, LOL. Yes, I bought a few goodies there too...Shhhh, nobody tell my Husband.

I'm headed off to my bead table now to check out all my new beadies!
